The units

From the marquee to the logistics hall.

Four mobile units, from 13,000 to 23,000 m³/h, moved from one area to another, and nine fixed units, from 20,000 to 60,000 m³/h, for permanent duty. The specifications below come from the manufacturer's data sheets and catalogue; the full data sheet for the model chosen is handed over with the survey.

For workshops, marquees and work areas that change with the season. Four models, four different machines: air flow, tank and footprint differ from one unit to the next. All are on castors, run from a single-phase 230 V socket and are financed through ZKB leasing.

Figures from the manufacturer's data sheets and catalogue, confirmed with the quote. Two are still missing: the noise level and the number of fan speeds of the RS-A15C, absent from both documents. And the RS-A23C is listed there at 60 Hz while the Swiss grid runs at 50 Hz: the 50 Hz version is confirmed before any quote.

Axial fan

Five sizes, from 20,000 to 36,000 m³/h.

The axial fan moves a large volume of air over a short distance: the unit sits above or beside the space to be treated, with short ducts. Depending on the model it discharges downwards, sideways or upwards.

The dimensions are those of the bottom-discharge model; top discharge adds 20 to 25 mm in height and side discharge 80 mm in width. Outlets from 670 × 670 to 800 × 800 mm. The RS-A20F, RS-A25F and RS-A35F have a plastic housing and run on 230 V or 400 V — the first current figure is at 230 V, the second at 400 V. The RS-A30F and RS-A36F are stainless steel, on 400 V three-phase.

Centrifugal fan

Four sizes, from 30,000 to 60,000 m³/h.

The centrifugal fan builds static pressure: it sends the air a long way, through a duct network serving several zones. Heavier and more powerful, for large volumes.

Stainless steel, 400 V three-phase. Outlets from 620 × 570 to 926 × 834 mm. The RS-A50R and the RS-A60R share the same housing: the fan and motor are what differ.

Covered areas are not published. The manufacturer does give one per model, but two units of 30,000 m³/h are credited with different areas — 150 to 200 m² for one, 200 to 300 m² for the other. And the same unit does not treat the same area in a closed warehouse and under a marquee. They are worked out during the survey, from the air flow and the water consumption of the model chosen.
